Andrew Tupler, CFP®, AIF®, MBA

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

Andy Tupler founded Tupler Financial in 1999 with a vision to create a firm that delivers personal and customized service in an age of rushed and often automated help. Andy believes an advisor should see the people behind the numbers, and he takes the time and effort needed to really know his clients. During his 20 years of experience, he has developed a specialized team to be proactive in clients’ lives, helping them manage today’s complex financial world. This provides them the peace of mind to live their ideal lives, giving them time to focus on the things they enjoy most.

Education and Credentials:

  • University of Maryland with a BS in finance

  • MBA from Rider University

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, which, along with the continuing education requirements, provides a modern approach to financial planning 

  • Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation, which indicates that Andy recognizes the responsibility to always act in the best interests of his clients

Andy is a dedicated contributor to the Somerset County Business Partnership and Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), and he is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He serves on the board of trustees and as treasurer for Everas Community Services. He lives in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, with his wife, Dara, and their two children, Noah and Shane.  He enjoys skiing in the Poconos and Colorado in the winter and stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking at the Jersey Shore in the summer.

Robert J. Fiocco, CFP®, CRPS®

Financial Advisor

Bob graduated from Johns Hopkins with a BS degree in electrical and computer engineering and subsequently received his MBA from Rutgers. Bob earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification in 2012. Through the Code of Ethics, CFP® practitioners agree to act fairly and diligently when providing you with financial planning advice and services, putting your interests first. He is also a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) who specializes in creating, implementing ,and maintaining retirement plans for businesses. Business retirement plans include IRAs, small business retirement plans, defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, 401(k) plans, and nonprofit and government plans. 
 
Additionally, Bob enjoys volunteer coaching for the Ridge Mavericks Soccer club and serving as a class rep for Delbarton.

Brian R. Kayhart, AIF®

Financial Advisor

Brian graduated from Seton Hall University with a BS in accounting. He began in Capital Markets in New York City in 1982. His institutional career spans more than 25 years, including his work experience in brokerage and management positions in U.S. Treasuries, nondollar sovereign bond markets, derivative products, and repurchase agreement financing on all aspects of fixed income. His job appointments included positions in London, Toronto, and Hong Kong, eventually coming back to New York to manage nondollar fixed income products for Euro Brokers in 1997. He then concentrated on U.S. products in New York and New Jersey, retiring in 2007 from ICAP Securities, the largest institutional broker in the world.

Brian then began working for Smith Barney Citibank as a financial advisor in 2007. After the merger of Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, his title became portfolio manager and he designed custom portfolios for his clientele. 

Brian earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation in 2014. Brian’s extensive mix of experience across multiple asset classes and currencies gives him a broad insight into diverse markets. Experience that he brings to serve his clients’ investment needs in today’s market. 

Brian has been involved for many years in local service, volunteering time and financial support. Living in Basking Ridge for 26 years, he has been active in fund raising for Delbarton School, Newark PAL, Patriot’s Path Council (Boy Scouts), and Rotary. His associations include Stanton Ridge GCC, Corvette Club of Central New Jersey, MG Club of Central New Jersey, Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America, and American Kennel Club, all of which he remains active in.

Joshua Murray

Associate Financial Advisor

Josh began his career more than 10 years ago in institutional trading where he gained valuable experience in developing client relationships. Josh joined Tupler Financial with a desire to have a more personal impact through his work. Coupled with the team at Tupler Financial, Josh aims to help individuals and families accomplish their goals while getting the most from their financial situation—from purchasing a home, to seeing their children graduate from college, or even simply enjoying their life in retirement.

Josh has passed the CFP® exam and is working toward obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, which is a commitment to rigorous ethical standards, ongoing training, and an obligation to make recommendations that are in clients' best interest.

On a personal note, Josh put down roots in New Providence, New Jersey, with his wife, Jen, along with their kids, Molly and Cooper. On the weekends, Josh loves going to the park with Molly and Cooper, cheering on the New York Giants, and playing golf when he can.

Corinne Fern, CFA®

Chartered Financial Analyst

Corinne joined Tupler Financial in 2009 to assist with investment analysis and portfolio rebalancing. In this role, she is responsible for helping our team identify those investments that are best suited to our clients’ needs. She assists with analysis and market research to target those investments that will help optimize our clients’ investments. Additionally, Corinne assists in rebalancing client portfolios to ensure that they are on track to meet their investment goals and financial goals.

Corinne has 12 years of experience in the investments and financial services industry. Prior to joining the Tupler team, she spent the majority of her career in the structured products division of a large insurance company working in both investment analysis and trading capacities. She also spent several years as a salesperson on the investment-grade corporate bond desk at an investment bank. Her career began in finance at a telecommunications firm responsible for financial reporting and analysis. 

Corinne graduated from Penn State University with a BS in finance. She earned her MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in finance and business policy. Corinne has also earned her Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, which signifies a commitment to knowledge, professionalism, and integrity in the investments world. This mark identifies those individuals who have met investment work experience requirements and have passed the three levels of the CFA Certification Examination covering topics in finance, investments, portfolio management, economics, and ethics.

Corinne resides in Basking Ridge with her husband, Leon, and their three children, Casey, Kevin, and Jake. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, playing tennis and spending summers boating with her family at the New Jersey shore.

David Vickroy

Financial Paraplanner

David joined Tupler Financial in 2006 as a part-time financial paraplanner after retiring from a successful career in applied research and business development for a major international company. He has completed the Financial Planning certificate program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ national exam. Dave now specializes in mutual fund analysis and assists the team in designing portfolio allocations appropriate for a client's goals and risk tolerance. He also assists in the preparation of detailed financial plans for the firm's clients.

David resides in Short Hills with his wife, Joanna, and Scott, a lively Cairn terrier. They are empty nesters but are fortunate to have a daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren living nearby in Pennsylvania. His hobbies are photography and attending symphonies, operas, and plays in New York and Jersey.

Patty Rehmer

Client Relations Manager

Patty was hired in June 2014 as client relations manager. She is the first point of contact for clients and provides administrative support. As part of her duties, she offers direct support to the advisors and clients for inquiries and solutions. She prepares and processes client paperwork, client information changes, deposits, and distributions, and also schedules appointments and a variety of other client support. Patty is also a notary public.

Patty currently lives in Far Hills, New Jersey, with her husband, Larry, and their two children, Brian and Brooke, who are currently in college. Patty enjoys spending her time with family and friends.

Heather Jacobs

Client Relations Manager

Heather joined Tupler Financial in December 2014 as a client relations specialist and has recently come to support the team in her role as client relations manager. Her focus is on maintaining Tupler’s high standard of excellence in client service and relations. She is the point of contact for Andy’s client base, offering direct support for inquiries and solutions.  

Prior to joining the team, Heather graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She went on to earn her master’s degree through the School of Social Work at Boston College, subconcentrating in employee assistance programming. Heather has held various positions within the Human Resources field. 

She currently lives in Chatham with her two children, Grace and Tyler. She loves to cook and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
